I went out with my date to the new BBQ's in Queens. I was so excited because I love BBQ's and each store is consistent in atmosphere, food, and cost. When i arrived, the atmosphere was typical BBQ's. open, warm and friendly. We got seated right away. We ordered our food and it arrived quickly thereafter. As I looked around the restaurant I noticed food all over the floor. There weren't tons of it but it was noticeable.

The waiter came to take our order. WOW. He looked like he slept in his car the night before. He wasn't shaved, he was forgetful and his clothes was sagging off of him. My date ordered another soda, my date was thirsty for ten minutes, he had to ask for another soda before the waiter remembered that he forgot it in the first place. Then he comped the soda..really?!

The food was delicious and always. I ordered a spinach salad with roasted chicken. It had walnuts, raisins and cheese. yum. My date had the shrimp, (beef) ribs and steak platter. Those ribs were so big, they look like something from the Flintstones. All was well but the waiter only checked up on us one time for the two hours we were there, But we spied him having a riveting conversation with the staff.

All and all, I would go back because BBQ's has become a household name. Known for it's consistently good food, great drinks and fair prices. Maybe the customer service suck because this location is still new and it didn't get a chance to work out all the kinks yet.
