Smoke Up: Big Apple BBQ

As you know, New York is known for it's outdoor activities. Fairs, Festivals, pop up carnivals, concerts and many more. But it's not a secret that we do not have really good BBQ. So when an event like this comes along, we have to take advantage. I've been  before and will go again. The lines are very long but it is definitely worth it. Sweet, smokey, juicy, succulent, spicy and affordable. It's not just meat, they also have corn, chili and more. I hope you go and enjoy.

Dozens of the country's best pitmasters descend on 23rd St. for a two-day meat fest that nearly kills half of Manhattan every year.

Pork story: Grab meaty offerings from Checkered Pig, Blue Smoke, and BlackJack BBQ for $8 a plate, or score a line-skipping ParkPass for $500.
