Sudsy Oasis

BeerParc's pints and bites are no mirage

The best part of being a kid in an amusement park?

The excess.

At long last, adults have their own kingdom where dreams really do come true.

Kicking down its back door, FoodParc has opened up a tree-filled beer garden, choicely named BeerParc. It's already a favorite spot among the after-work crowd.

Post up at a table with a Radeberger or Guinness while you scan the row of food stands from some of your favorite eateries.

If you want a spicy meat bomb, hit up Fatty Crab's Fatty Snack stand for the beef brisket sandwich.

We're also suckers for the lobster avocado BLT from Ed's Raw Bar, and the Bavarian-style pretzels and cheese sausage from Edi and the Wolf, washed down with a pint of Tucher Helles Hefeweizen.

So yeah, there's plenty to choose from, but no need to overdo it on your first trip. This mirage will still be there when you come back.
